Work Shift Requirement

To support the farm all CSA members are required to volunteer their time, in addition to the subscription fee. CSA members sign up for a shift on a distribution day. The CSA relies on its members to supervise distribution. Members who do not fulfill their work shifts, or who register for a shift and cancel within 48 hours will be charged a fee of $55 per shift at the end of the Winter '16-'17 season. Failing to complete the work shift means others must work an additional shift.

Time Required

Summer Share: 4 hours (2 shifts) per share
Fall Share: 2 hours (1 shift) per share
Winter Share: 2 hours (1 shift) per share

Where? Shifts occur at the pick up location. Assistance with first shift, "Afternoon Unloading," is critical to running the CSA. Please plan ahead and email the CSA Program Coordinator if you need any supporting documentation for your employer.
